Will the JBA cat4ward headers and the Bassani Xpipe (w/ high flow cats) bolt on together? Will they fit?

And does anyone know where to find JBA's LT headers? Will these bolt up to the Bassani Xpipe?

thanks!

Try www.ajusa.com for the JBA long tubes.

The JBA shorties fit the stock exhaust set up, so I would imagine that they would fit up to the Bassani pipes no problem since the Bassani fits to the stock manifolds with no problems.

Not sure about the Long Tubes and the bassani pipes.

I am going to shorty headers for a turbo install, I will be removing my long tubes in a few weeks, PM if you might be interested. I wish I could give info on fittment for the x-pipe but I only know about the JBA pipe I have.

The thing that is going to matter is the center to center measurements of both the collector and the entry into the X-Pipe. JBA designed their headers to fit somewhat wider down below @ the collector (so you almost have to use their mid pipe) and the framerail clearances are very tight.

If you can find out from Bassani what the center to center measurements for the entry into their pipe is you can see if it fits with the JBAs. If the X-Pipe is designed as a mostly stock replacement I believe you are out of luck here and they wont fit together unless you have them slightly modified.

You may want to read through my Hooker Header Install thread, it will help ya out some. Hooker designed their collectors to slip into the stock H-Pipe.

yeah...but I would think there is some potential HP to free up with changing out the midpipe/hpipe to an aftermarket one.

If the Basani pipes are like the stock angles they should mate up. You may have to modify a steel hanger or muscle them into position mind you. Thats what I still have to do.

you may want to check out Kooks Headers - JMD Engineering has a set up they run with Cats & an X pipe. They are using the headers on their 05 Saleen S/C car and seeing good results.
