I'm still considering which axle back to go with. I realize no axle back really offers much performance (if any) advantage. So it's basically down to looks and sound. So... as far as sound, from the clips I've found, Jewls (g/f) and I like the JBA the best, but I am concerned about drone in the cockpit at highway speeds. I've had a Magnaflow in a Dakota before that will ring your ears if you take it on a road trip, and I don't want to repeat that torture (even though the truck sounds great, it's annoying on road trips).

So any drone from JBA owners? Yes I've done a search, but wanted to know if there were any new opinions.

Thanks!

Prior to putting on my headers and h-pipe I had just the axle back system and I noticed no drone as compared with my other cars that have had Flowmasters or Mac exhaust. JBA is a good product.

No drone on the axle backs here either, good quality sound after break-in.

I have C&L CAI with the C&L 87-91Tune, Bassani Axel Back. No real drone, except with your at 2ooorpm.. Sounds great when you open it up.
I will post a clip soon.

I installed the JBA axle back and have not noticed a drone at all. If anything I thing I think that they are a little to quite. They still sound really good though.

Too quite at idle, wot, or cruising? I wouldn't mind something that has a deep idle, quite at cruising speed, and loud and mean at WOT. I guess I want it all, ha!

Thanks everyone for you input, I'm leaning heavily toward the JBA now. Bassani and Borla just cost too much.

Anybody know a good place to get them price wise?

I have the JBA axel back and i like them alot. Not that loud, but beefy. There is some drone at 1500 to 1800 rpms in 5th gear on the high way but there also is no power there so just down shift for a second and get the rpms up to 1950 2000 and its perfect.
