Issues since tune/CAI: 1) powersteering went out, 2) noise at WOT 5-6k RPM
Ok, so within a day of installing my CAI/tune, my power steering went out while I was driving. I kept driving and at every stop light, I would turn off my engine, take out the key, wait, restart, etc., to try to get the power steering re-enabled... nothing happened. After about 5 miles / 15 minutes of driving, the power steering magically kicked back in.. it's been fine for the last several days since then. Has this happened to anyone?
Also, around 5-6k RPM, when at WOT, I hear a noise that sounds sort of like crinkling aluminum foil.. sort of a tinkley sound. Maybe it sounds sort of like a ball of foil stuck in a metal fan, which is bouncing all over the fan because of the spinning fan. Interesting... cause I hear the EXACT SAME sound in my 5-cyl non-turbo Volvo S70 around the same RPM range at WOT. Is this detonation/pinging/knocking? What does that sound like?

That sounds like you are describing detonation (or pinging). Make sure you have a full tank of 93 octane (or whatever tune you are using). Until then you can back off the timing by a degree or two on the X-Cal. If a full tank of the proper fuel doesn't cure it, contact your tuner.
