all i hear here are poeple doing the quarter mile times but what about 1/8 mile times? lately ive been going and have race a couple times. usualy my first run is my best and i get worst and worst each time . my best time was 9.4 sec. just wondering what poeple here are getting. also whats a good rpm to lunch the car. everytime i start, it starts skipping and stay behind

Well, I've haven't been to Irwindale, but my car usually runs 8.9-9.0 in San Diego. Last month at Fontana (CA Dragway), it was warm, with a strong headwind... avg 1/8 time was 9.12 (stock gears).
