Installing sport springs on a vert?
Worked for about 4 hours trying to get a set of Steeda Sport Springs on the back of my vert. Followed both inclosed instructions and Taco Bills write up. All was good untill I hit a snag.
With a vert there it an extra set of cross braces in the back, could not lower the axle enough to get the old springs out. Went to Autozone and got a spring compressor, could not get it inside the springs to work. Wasted time and trip.
Any segestions?
Here are some photos of the brace. Thought about removing the braces but one bolt is way up above the axle, I could not reach with just working in the driveway with a set of jack stands.
It is the black bar going diagonal across the pumpkin. there is one on each side... btw. what is it called?

I just lifted the opposite wheel and pulled the spring out.
Set car on stands, wheel off the side you are working on, let rear suspension hang free, place floor jack under opposite wheel, lift until rear axle "tilts" lower on the removal side, and just pull out the spring. I did not need any special tools at all.
