![Question](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
What kind of parts or kits will I need to install the Cobalt O2 sensor to my mustang? It is the cheaper gauge (about 70 bucks) not the 400 dollar gauge set up. I know some will flame me for needing a real A/F gauge, but that is why I get a tune. If I am going to tune it, I will go to a tuner on a dyno.
My question is what accessories will I need from Autometer to attach it to my O2 bungs? and let me add, not require a new bung be installed. Also I thought I read a while back that it can be attached to the existing wiring.

About a month ago, I helped someone hook up a narrow band. Don't remember every step (sorry) but he spliced into the top plug of the PCM. Purple with a green runner for the O2 sensor readings. Double check in the service manual wiring diagrams. Personally, it would make me too nervous to splice into the PCM.
He also scrapped the gauge a week ago because the reading would never sit still. Even as a safety gauge, it constantly bounced back from pig rich to supermodel lean.
