I am installing non-adjustable BMR LCA's w/poly bushings this weekend. I read a thread here awhile back detailing the installation but I can't find it when I search.

I have 2 questions:

The install instructions say to remove the wheels and lift on the axle. Can they be changed without removing the wheels by using a lift that keeps the car's weight on the wheels?

I also read somewhere that the bolt torque requirements was other that the 75ft lbs. that the instruction state.

Thanks for the help.

I'm sure you could install them with the wheels on, but much cursing involved due to the location of the bolts. As far as the torque, I did mine to the 75ft lbs and haven't had a single problem. I really would recommend taking the rear wheels off though since you'll have much easier access.

Since it sounds like he's doing it on a lift, then maybe leaving the wheels on wouldn't be a big deal.

Had no problems with wheels on! Just let the axle hang and you'll have no problems....

PM me, I just did it yesterday. I also have a cheat sheet I can email you with photos.

I can pass along a few tips.

If you have access to a lift, use it. I used jack stands and put them under the axels. This kept it under tension for torquing it down.
