Installing same combination that I just installed on my car, and we are getting a code of p2106. The code is under normal driving conditions and not related to full throttle passes.

 

P2106 Throttle actuator control system, forced limited power.

 

Is your friends car modified in other ways?

Well I'm pretty sure you can't use your tuner with another car... once you use the tuner on a car it's "mated" to that car until you restore it back to stock.

 

Raise his idle 100 rpm. I am out on vacation and just read this message. That should take care of it. The car does not like where his idle is at.

 

brent, I tried this and it is not the problem. If possible, read your work email, I sent you exactly what it is doing (his cell number is on your email).
