Guys,

I just installed the Predtor 91 Octane Tune into my Stang and now I am getting a CEL and I ran a diagnostic and it said "bank 1 lean and bank 2 lean".

What did it say exactley? There is: Bank 1 sensor 1, Bank 1 sensor 2, Bank 2 sensor 1, and Bank 2 sensor 2...Bank 1 and 2 is right or left side and sensor 1 is your manifold O2 sensor(important one) and sensor 2 is the cat O2 sensor.

Did you buy the C&L and the Predator as a package? Did you install the C&L tune or just the regular predator 91 octane tune? The C&L tune is downloadable from diablosport if you don't have it already on your predator.

Your Predator read's out differently than mine, I have an older model...The P1000 code is normal, so there's no problem there. I would like to know which sensor's are reading lean. There are four total one in each manifold and one in each cat. Your best bet would be to strap it to a dyno and dyno tune it, also hook up a wide band O2 sensor. You can rich'n it up a couple point's in the meantime...Hope this help's.

yeah, I bought the package from RPMoutlet, and honestly I'm not sure if I installed the C & L Tune, bought I thought that's what I did off of the RPMOutlet site. I downloaded the file that matches my car's CalId.

If by chance I did install the wrong tune, should I restore the factory backup and do it again?

I had the same problem with my Steeda CAI kit. You need an updated C&L tune. The tune you have is for a 85mm kit. You need the tune for the 90mm kit which I don't know if C&L has yet. I know Steeda updated theirs already. You'll have to probably email C&L and ask them for an updated tune and see what they say.

I received my 90mm tune from Doug at Bama Chips. I don't know if his website is operable yet though. I know he was out of town. (that was for a SCT tune though).

C&L has a 90mm out now? I thought it was said here the 90mm would be coming out next month. Anyways, if you did download the C&L tune from here, then you have the C&L tune. To install it, select the custom tune option rather than the performance tune option during installing. Select the tune listed there (I don't exactly how many will be here, I don't have a C&L) that you want. If you have already done this, then you have the correct tune installed. Wish I could help more

You have the wrong tune. Go to the Diablosport website and get the right C+L 91 octane tune and put it on.

I think I figured it out! I had installed the "Performance Tune" rather than the "C & L MAF Tune", which explains why it was running lean. Thank you so much guys for all your help. That's why I love this forum so much. NOw to get out there and try her out!
