I have already installed a TBS. I will be getting my C&L/sct2 next week. Is there any thing I have to buy separate to make the C&L fit with my TBS? I was reading before about some hose? If so..where can I buy it and exactly how long, what brand, and what size to get? thanks, tristan

 

All you will need is about 16" of 3/8" fuel line and a little patience. No big deal, just take your time putting all back together. The little green things on the hose you will have to remove, turn them slightly and the hose will easly remove. I personally would wait until I got the C&L and install all in once...

Here's what I did when I installed my C&L CAI without the TBS. I carefully sliced the factory plastic tubing from the molded tubing ends on the factory vent tube assembly. I then purchased the appropriate length of stainless steel braided hose and full flow hose ends from Aeroquip. I then installed the factory ends from the original tube assembly on the stainless steel braided hose. Looks very professional. Also makes removal very easy.

 

I just bought about $1 worth of 3/8" ID hose from the local auto parts store. I cut the plastic stock tube in half, and slid each end into the hose. Worked perfect... you can see it in the lower portion of the photo below.

 

thanks for the replies. I bought some 3/8" fuel line. I think i'm gonna do don w's idea...seems the simplest in keeping stock.
