To anyone who has installed an aftermarket shifter in their 05, I need a favor. Can you take a look at your stock shifter and tell me if it looks like the handle can be replced? I know B&M and other companies make handles for imports which are similar to our set up. Also, any pics would be great.

The stock unit has a handle that is attached to the lower sleeve (the ball socket) with a spring pin....so you could replace it. I doubt however that just a shorter handle would do much.
