This is the only forum that never mentions the strut tower caps. They are are one-time use and you should use a new set, they're about $50 for a pair. I didn't bother with re-using stock spring isolator strips either(the rubber sleeves on the lower front strut springs), steeda already has them on the spring. I also needed one pair of camber bolts on mine(dialed in 1.2 negative camber). No issues with my springs at all. Still all well under $300 total for parts.
Even though it will be out of alignment, drive it around for a couple weeks(about 200 miles) to get it all to seat up and settle before getting it aligned.

I've had the Ultralites on for a few months now, no new strut caps, and didn't put new struts on either. I did get the adjustable panhard bar, but the alignment shop said it was still within specs after the install, so nothing needed there.

Luckily, the bearing cap is servicable and the ball bearings re-greased and properly placed within the race if necessary.
On the isolator, I have no idea why Steeda places it 1 1/2 coils up from the end.
The stock ones need to be transferred over so the Ultralites don't sit on the strut perch bare. This is sometimes the cause of metal to metal creaking sounds when driving.

You can get away with the stock struts but I highly recommend getting the Tokico D-Spec struts and dampers installed when you do the springs. I have the Ultra-lites and D-Specs and adjusted properly the ride quality is better than stock and handles about 300% better.

My thought with the tower caps is IF there is any damage while taking them apart, the $50 peace of mind versus completely disassembling the front again and paying for another alignment again ain't worth the risk.

Ultralites here on stock dampers. No issue. Much better than stock!
