Well if you want a thumpy idle get a nice head porting job and some big cams. That will give her some rough idle.

check out the JBA headers and exhaust. Next to the hood being replaced and a good cold air intake will be about the only mods until the warranty runs out that I have planned. I seriously hope there is a good aluminum/CF similar to the concept out there.

Sounds like you should get a loud exhaust and a good CAI. I know when I installed my CAI my exhaust seemed to rumble a little louder.

I second a CAI. I just installed my C&L and it sounds awesome under WOT. It also made the exhaust a tad bit louder. Next is an off road x-pipe thru the stock mufflers.

You say you want to scare people? Look no farther then an offroad H pipe and SLP Loudmouths. The SLPs are $225, and off road Hs are about $200, and I guarentee that will be insanely $%&#ing loud.

The easiest way IMO, get the Borla S-Type (Stingers) Cat-Back or Axle-Back. The car rumbles and you feel a slight vibration. Plus, its one of the DEEPEST sounding exhuasts for the 05 I've heard yet. I think this will give you the desired effect without making changes to engine parts.

How evil do you want to sound?
Good offroad exhuast + mufflers = evil
long tube headers + offroad exhuast + mufflers = more evil
big lopey cam + long tubes + offroad exhuast + mufflers = very evil
big lopey cam + open headers = insanely evil.
