At least in the northeast, the warm weather means the reappearance of short, tight, women's clothing.

I'm picking up my car Jan. 6th in San Diego....and at 62 degrees I may have to turn the heater on full blast with the top down...darn winter sucks! Hope the wind chill doen't mess with my shiny new ride's internals!
Cheers all and Merry x-mas!!

hey Dustin, same thing happened to me about a week ago. Every time I shift within the first five minutes of driving (when I start her below 30 degrees) it feels as if I'm pressing the brake pedal. No worries though it's normal as I checked it out and everything was ok below.

Hey, come on now. It gets cold in SoCal, too. For example, when I was at the track last Friday night, it dipped into the 40s!! Brrrrrrrrr :hiding:

WAIT WAIT WAIT
you mean to tell me...that the temperature can get BELOW 0...in to negative numbers? That's ridiculous. I went to Bear Mtn. last season...and it was 19 degrees. I thought I was going to die.

Well daytime highs are in the 70s here in Phoenix. It's a great time to wash and wax the Mustang.

when the car is cold it you try and pull out the clutch at low RPM's and give it gas she bucks you like a nast bronco and the RPM's surge up and down until you rev it up to about 2000 rpms and then she clears her throat.

Wind chill is more of a cold perception measure for us humans, though there are real implications in terms of frost bite too.
In -40 degree weather, your car might well make some horrible screeching noises first thing out.
And in -57 wind chill, driver of said car will most certainly make horrible screeching noises first thing out the door! :-)

In very cold weather (-40+ windchill) I've had the hydrolic clutch freeze up, and the power steering quit, among other things. Problem with the wind is, these components can't warm up, because the wind removes the heat from them as fast as it is created.
