Man I bet with the stall converter and your new handy dandy switch, those Nittos won't last long.

Ohhh...seems I got two new problems with this $150 mod. It will cost about $400 - 500 to replace them Nittos and on top of that I just went to the garage to bring in a few more brewskies. Does anyone make a scent deordorizer for a garage??? Even after 1 1/2 hours it seems to have burnt rubber smell. I guess no mod is without it's down sides

Where did you get the nice looking switch?

Nice job on the install, and thnks for the heads up on the drilling problem/solution.

Thanks a bunch.... and I am going out on a limb here and assuming that should be $6.98.

Well I guess this is the last thing I need to post about this mod. They work great. Not sure why my friend killed the camera so quickly. Sounds like I should have been watching the tach. Hitting the fuel shut off and thats set for 6500 rpm I think. 2nd gear autotrans burnout.

I am in the process of ordering mine right now. How long did the complete install take you to do including bleeding the brakes? (and the drilling of the holes)

I am ordering today so I can go racing next weekend. After reading your thread I am stoked!!

Total install time for me was about 4 hrs. Longer than the advertised install time and some others but I feel I did it correctly. To me that is the most important. One thing about the install I did not post about was getting the stock front brake line between the master cylinder and the ABS manifold out was kind of a bi!ch. I was trying to be nice about it but finally I just need to get rough about it. You will know what I mean when you get there!!

Yup, this'll be the first time since 1972 that I got to do some drag racing. Actually it's the first time in many years I had a car suitable for racing. Tomorrow I'll be installing my Steeda UDPs while waiting on the Line Lock kit.

I still don't have suitable tires but for this time I'll just be happy to get out and make some smoke.

BTW >>>---> It's not nice to laugh at Old Geezers...

Nicely done Scott. I was hoping you were going to smoke them until they blew. No such luck.

Now lets see another video of you making a few passes so I can hear/see how the new TC is working.

Hey GrayPny,

I am wondering who the oldest geezer is on this forum... Is the "sixty2" on your plate your age?

Maybe someone will start a thread....

I already picked up the rocker switch at Auto Zone and ordered the linelocks from Brenspeed. I have a set of 285/40 tires in my garage that I might have to mount up for the linelock testing. Can't wait until my wife asks me why the garage smells like burnt rubber!

BTW - what was your answer?
