I just bought a SLP line lock!!!
Happy 34th my friend. I have to add more info now. Let's see. I think inside the arm rest would be best since you want to hide it a bit mr sneaky.
maybe you could wire it up to your aux ( phone) button on your stereo.

Here's a video of racing my 05 GT at Countyline a local 1/8 mile track, including the use of line-locks:

Started the install late this afternoon. Got all the brake lines and solinoid stuff done. Got the front brakes bled and tires back on. Got half of the wiring finished. I hope to get some time tomorrow evening to get it finished up.
Hardest thing so far was drilling the mounting holes for the solinoid.
No room to work.
But it's done.

LOL..I went to the shop and got a 90 degree air drill. It's the only way it can be done. And I still had to break a drill in half so that only about 3/8 inch was sticking out of the chuck.

I am so close!!! I didn't like the switch that came with the SLP kit. It is just a simple toggle switch. I stop by Autozone tonight to see if I could find a switch with an LED in it to tell me that it was on. I found a nice one. It has three spade connectors coming out of it with absolutely no instructions. Chinese crap!!!!

So I had it working great early on but I think I toasted the **** thing figuring out what post gets what!!!!!!! Hot or ground!!
Back to Autozone!!!!
Input from an electrican would be helpful!!!

Hey Scott, that 3 pole switch:
1 is ground
1 is power in
1 is power out
Which pole is which, you'll need either instructions, a circuit tester, or some beer/patience to figure out LOL.

Well I had the beer covered.
And I have a circuit tester. Maybe I should get it out of the cabinet.
I pickup a new switch at lunch today from Advanced Auto. It's a different brand and has instructions with it. I hope for more success tonight.
EDIT....
Okay...I figured out that just trying to simply add a LED light switch to the SLP kit required rewiring the entire circuit. All works now but I am now pulling power from the cigarette lighter wiring under the console instead of the SJB. Both are hot all the time so it's now big deal but I can't seem to find out what amp fuse powers the cigarette lighter. The SLP kit comes with a 10 amp fuse but I removed it because of the different wiring to make this switch work. It's no big deal to re-wire in the 10 amp fuse in the power wire but if the cigarette lighter is already 10 amp why should I go thru the trouble. Anyone know? The Ford manual doesn't give any hint that I can find!!

Okay....my install is complete. Here is a couple of pictures of the switch with the LED I chose over the one that came with the SLP kit. I think you will agree it looks better with the Stangs interior and the LED at least tells me the **** thing is on. I did a test drive tonight and I want to share some info I have not seen posted before. The biggest question I had about this mod was what the hell happens if you are driving down the road and hit the switch. If your foot is not on the brake pedal......nothing.
What I now know is the SLP solinoid is a one way check valve. If you activate it when driving and put your foot on the brake pedal it will apply the front brakes according to the pressure applied and it will continue to hold that pressure. It is very easy to control. But it will hold that pressure until you turn the switch off. No disaster!!!
Here is a few pics of the cheapo toggle switch you get with the kit and a pic of my new switch with the LED turned on and off. I think you will agree it looks like it goes with the cars interior. I want to thank TOM281 for the suggestion on where to place the switch. Very handy and I don't think the wife can see it from the passenger seat!!!!

The camera's flash makes the LED in the off position look lit but it is completely dark when off. Ohh yeah the **** thing works really good. I will post a vid in a couple of days when I can recruit a cameraman!!!

You are correct... With the E-brake handle down it is even more stealty. I can lay my hand on it with ease. And my test drive tonight produced a lot of black flakey stuff in my rear wheel wells.
