I installed my CHE k-member w/torque limiters

I think I'm still going to get the poly motor mounts as my headers are really close. I bought mine with the competition ends so i have to wait on the poly ones coming in and my baby is asleep till spring..Got to love Alberta winters lol..

I could feel a little more vibration though the shift handle when it was idling but no big deal.
I have a question for you guys with the torque limiters. The stock bolts going through the bellhousing and into the block stuck out through the block about 1/4". There were 2 pairs of bolts that came with the limiters and the instructions said to use the short ones for a V8 manual car which I did. But the bolts are recessed in the block about 1/4". I was wondering if this was ok. The long bolt seem like the threads would bottom out before the eyelet would be against the bellhousing. I contacted CHE and am waiting for a response. What did you guys notice when you installed yours?

The bolt length is sufficient. Unfortunately metric bolts don't have a lot of selection and the next size up does not have enough thread and it will bottom out.
I suppose I could run a die down the longer bolts so that they wouldn't bottom out.

I drove my car a couple of weeks ago for the first time since I installed it and it really tightened things up in the front end. The drivetrain feels much more connected and to the chassis and more responsive. I would highly recommend this mod.
