I feel like such a rookie sometimes....

It's been a while since I've modded cars or otherwise had to touch a car.

Last weekend I installed springs, shocks/struts and panhard brace/support.

Did the full install of everything in 4 hours and the car handled very good.

This week I had a revelation of epic proportions..... on the rear shocks, the metal cap and rubber bumper that fits under it (in the trunk)... well I forgot to take it off the shock when I installed it, so it was UNDER the car still on the shock.... no wonder i was hearing strange noises over certain bumps....

Took 10 minutes this moring to jack up the car and pull the shocks down and get the rubber bumpers and put them IN the trunk where it belonged.

I must be getting old to miss something like that...

You are lucky ... at least you had the bushing. Got around today to install my D-Spec shocks and found one of the two rears was missing the upper part of the top bushing ... go figure.

A good tech can fix his F-ups. A bad tech needs some one else to do it.
