How Are Those MGW Holding Up?
Those with the MGW shifters. How many miles you been driving with it? Hows it feel now? Tips or anything for those who are comtemplating or are on the fence about buying? How are the shifts, noise vibration after extented use.
Im most likely going to be buying my MGW within the next couple weeks. I like that George is making a hurst style shifter ball with MGW logo on it within the next couple weeks. (Make a black and a white ****!)
Hey George if your reading, how about a chrome shift handle(shaft w/e) along with that standard shift handle you have out now?

Had mine on a couple of weeks and the more I use it the more I like it. I've got the progressive springs on and the throw set at about 8 turns out. It has no noticeable vibration or noise ... I'd say get one ...
Mike
i've had mine for about a month and the only issue I had was with some noise. But George and some others here helped me resolve it. George listened to my whining and sent me some additional parts which I installed last night.
It's an awesome shifter plus you get customer service that's second to none.

Yup, really awesome shifter, I have mine set at 4 turns out (progressive springs), the shanks raised all the way up and the shifter bracket offset to the passenger side...Waiting for george to send me my shank for my roush shift ball.
Yeah, I got to save a few paychecks before I can get one. Anyone know or have pictures with the distance from the **** to the a/c controls? Like the general throw distance? I know it saw it someone once before and I can't find it now.
I've had the MGW shifter on for a few weeks now and it's heads and shoulders above the Steeda Triax. No noise, just push it forward for 3rd gear without thinking about it......even at high revs. As far as MGW interior pieces, just like the shifter, they are the best available, Period.
Got Oatz did a very good review with pictures and measurements. http://www.mustangforums.com/m_2987622/tm.htm
Thank you, I knew I saw it somewhere. Explains why I never found it on these forums
