How hard is it to remove the staock TB???

Can anyone tell me how hard it is to remove and clean the stock throttle body? Is it pretty straight forward?? could there be any possible issues with me doing this myself. I want to clean the TB to see if that will help my issues w/my CAI. I would appreciate any info. Thanks!!

Easy! Undo the clamp holding the stock air tube to the TB, and the one bolt holding the airbox in on the drivers side fender well. Undo the clips for the sensors and PCV. Pull the stock airbox out to give you clearance.

4 bolts to hold the throttle body on... 2 up top, 2 down below all facing the front of the car. 2 clips to pull off, and you're done!

thanks CR.. you da Man!! ha ha ok seems pretty straight forward... I think I'm just gonna attempt to clean the TB myself.. the closest dealer I can send it that wont give me a hassle about the CAI is in Jersey... its just too much of a headache to get the car there and find a way to bring it back. Should I ask Monroe ford to at least reset the PCM?

Well... update on my "drama"... the ford dealership finally inspected my car and will indeed replace my brake lines and some other stuff due to the TSB for the e-brake freezing. They also said they clean my TB and that there was a little buildup in there. Lets hope that will do the trick. They did mention that its almost time to change my fuel filter. Anyone have any recommendations as far as brands? My friend who will be doing my Cams install said he can do it that same day for no charge. I just have to get the filter. Thanks again for eveyones comment.. I should have more info in the next few days. Hopefully this will enable me to install my CAI again and have some fun!! I think I'm going through withdrawls!!
