Can someone who has had their car on the dyno and has similar mods tell me what horsepower increase I might have? I am asked all the time how much more horsepower I have and I don't know but I'm guessing 25 to 30.

Hey Rich-

My car dyno'ed around 288 horse with my JLT intake and Brenspeed tune. I had Corsa mufflers too, but I don't think they added much. When I added my offroad H pipe, my power went to 296. These were both on Brenspeed's dynojet. I would think that your combo, with the Ford Racing X pipe & cats along with a set of pullies would put you right around the same numbers- 296 or so at the wheels, or about 335 at the engine assuming 12% drivetrain loss.

I haven't dyno'ed the car since I installed the pullies and gears. As you may now know, I have a set of CMRC delete plates that I'll be installing soon. I have a dyno appointment set with Brenspeed for October 2- I'll let you know what numbers I get after that.

What's the scoop on underdrive pulleys by the way? I have always been scared that somehow running the car accessories at a lower speed is bad. I guess in Rich's case he might offset based on the 4.10 gears. Why do pulleys scare me?!!?

I just ordered them today so I don't have them installed yet. I'll do the X pipe sometime this week.

 

Somewhat similar, I had my car dynoed with a JLT Intake and 93 tune, Bassani X-Pipe, and an electric water pump:

I got 303 rwhp and 309 rwtq. This included some tweaking by the dyno guy.
