Homelink mirror install help please

I got a Mazda mirror with Homelink and a temp/compass. I've got the whole thing done except I need a switched hot and a constant hot. The wires were only long enough to go to the fuse panel on the passenger side kick plate. Which fuses can I use? I have two fuse taps, if i use those do I need to use a larger fuse? I figured I would use the radio fuse for the switched hot. How about the constant?

Hey Jimp,

I have always just used a 12 volt test light. They are very cheap and you can pick them up anywhere. All you do is clip the ground end to any good metal ground in the car and touch the hot end to the top of the fuse. If the test light lights up with the ignition off you have 12 volt constant and if it lights up when you turn the key to ignition you have 12 volt switched.
