HELP!!! front end noises continue!! :(

hi all,

i installed just eibach pro springs and d-spec shocks...

since then, i had these noises over bumps..like something was loose.

i researched and thought sway bar end links..

so, i go to shop and they put on lift and said they were loose and they tighted the bolts all around.

it seemed to fix it and it seemed tight. i drive back to NYC, about 30 miles and the noises come back!!

any info would be GREAT! these noises are killing me!!

anything else that can be wrong with just this minor suspension upgrade?

thanks so much!!!

Sway links may of come loose again, you HAVE to use locktite on those things.

Well you shouldn't need the strut mounts unless its 'popping' over bumps. I would check the links again and then see if it still makes noise.

You should make sure everything is tight and properly torqued. And we mean to the letter

- lower rear shock mount (if bolts were not replaced (should have)) assemble nut to bolt with locktite (blue) and torque to specified ft-lbs

- upper rear shock mount, check that nut / bushing assembly full made up

- front strut, nut to rod, properly torque to specified ft-lbs

- front strut to upright (if bolts were not replaced (should have)) assemble nut to bolt with

- front sway bar links, assemble nut with locktite (blue) and torque to specified ft-lbs.

- check all your wheel lug nuts for tightness

What are your Spec D's set at?

steeda hd mounts don't cure clunking noises... just popping when turning. you need steeda sway end links! $209 from steeda.
