I called JBA yesterday about their new Cat4Ward headers to find out if they are going to release new dyno figures, based upon the newly designed exhaust system standard on the '05. (Alex, I believe), told me JBA will release new info based on the '05 in late January, to include articles and discussion of the '05. He took my information and said he would advise me as soon as their info releases.
Anybody else interested, I'll post as soon as I receive.

Curious....when did you place your order? Was it for the cat4ward shorties?

Any news on the performance increase for the shorties given by JBA?

 

Haven't heard anything yet, they told me late January. If I don't hear anything, I'll call them first of next week.

 

They said they had some magazine articles lined up and they would be coming out in them towards the end of Jan begin Feb. I hope to have my installed before they come out.

 

Sounds like we won't be receiving the headers til the end of the month, but if I get mine installed before they release their info, I'll post dyno results. I'll feel more comfort with numbers from my own car anyway.

 

My tuner did six pulls and a tune with the JBA shorties with JBA axlebacks installed and it picked up 3rwhp and lost 1rwt. I've had the headers installed for some time, but this is the first chance the tuner has had to spend the time on the pulls & tune.
Not very exciting, but worthwhile news for those still thinking about exhaust upgrades.

 

Sounds like you might want to get a X or H pipe with high flow or no cats. I've read that the stock cats are the biggest restriction.
