Header expertise?

Gidday Mates
I will be installing a Bassani exhaust setup the day my stang arrives, both catback and midpipe...the midpipe is going to be there combo cat/off road solution.
Since I'm new to this whole modding your stang scene, I wanted to know what determines iif you can use longtube headers? I've read (on forums of course ) that longtube gives you more performance...which is what I'm looking for, I know Bassani is coming out with a header for the 05/06 soon, I dont know if it's shorty or longtube.
But with the combo I'm installing does that limit what brand of longtube header I can install?

Ok, if the setup you have was designed to fit off the factory manifolds, and you want longtube headers, then all it would take is a bit of cutting. Nothing big, it'd be cake for a shop doing it. So really the options are endless on compatibility, if its the same material & diameter.
