My supercomps came with new hardware but,To be honest thet are just standard grade Zink Bolts with no washers or Lockwashers.Question is,Cant I just reuse the factory ones wich I like because they have the oblonged nuts that wont loosen up.Were as my past header experience was bolts always falling out.
The factory ones are the same length and look like they will work perfect.

Dont some headers actually require the use of the factory bolts?

My JBA's couldn't use the the stock studs because of clearance. Not to mention with only a few heat cycles the prevailing torque nuts usually lock on pretty tight to the studs. Then when you try to back them out you end up taking out the studs all at once...

I had to use both. If you can get away with the factory studs and nuts use them. A couple of my studs hit the headers so I had to use the bolts in those places. I have JBA headers. If you do use bolts make sure you use Anti-seize on them.
