True I had 1.8s on my stock tires. Seem like the more I do to go faster something else holds me back.
Sure did, I think I got the same mail order tune guy you had. Brent Hughes did it for me.

Getting an internet tune from DTP racing IS NOT THE SAME as getting your car tuned on a dyno while you are spraying nitrous. I consider what you're doing to be extraordinarily dangerous to your engine. You have no idea what is actually going on with your engine. My god I want to cry

The tune I got from DTP racing is not any good and was possibly a waste of money. At WOT I was pulling a 11.8 A/F and only putting down 292 HP / 299 TQ with the mods I have. I should be over 300HP easy, the tune is not any good. Brent says all cars are different and you can't expect to max your power without strapping your car down and custom tuning it.

You need a custom tune. I bet you're running really rich.

speco, you are here in vegas? I have ran 13.5 at 102.49 with just a jlt/cai in my car. I can only suggest shifting higher up in the rpm band and see if that works. I personally shift at 6200 rpms.

I would suggest getting the car tuned on the dyno here in vegas by a guy nicknamed Dyno Dan. PM me and I can give you his number.

I was also just thinking:

Do you have a bottle pressure gauge? What was the bottle pressure on the run? If I am correct it should be somewhere around 900-1000psi for a good hit. Out here in vegas, it still is a little cool, so maybe your pressure was just low.

Are you going to be out at the track on Wed. this week?

Are you turning up the rpm's at launch or launching off idle? I definately wouldn't go with any internet tune for nitrous! Go find a dyno and a tuner.

I do have a dyno tune for my 75 shot that I got done here in vegas by the guys that did a lighting a few years back, SilverState tuning I think. Going to head back to there shop this week to redo it for a 100 hp shot.

3K....are your tires breaking loose or is the car bogging. My suggestions:
Make sure your tune is 100%
Mess with your psi in the tires
Work on launching. You should be leaving with the rpm's up enough that the tires slightly spin at launch. My guess, in the upper 4K-5k range. It depends on your track conditions, tires, weather.
Shift in the top end of your power band. You'll have to look at a dyno sheet to see what rpm the power drops off. If the power curve drops off at 5800, then shift at 5800.
My .02

I need to get another dyno and a custom tune, but...

I've run a 13.3 in my auto with minimal mods and a 2.0 60ft (2.8k launch).

My friend Nino has run 12.7's with minor mods and long tubes...

check your tune and work on your launches. I need to do the same.

Sorry to be off topic but how do you launch at 2800rpm? lots of people claim to be launching so high and i break my tires loose at 2100. is your converter stock? Also i cut a 1.9 launching at 1500 stock pirellis, 32psi.
