Has any one done a Turbo yet??

Just wondering if you or any one you know has done one yet? Please post any links you know of either to some one that has one or where I can get a complete kit.
Thanks in advance.

you are on the wrong forum for that question. do a search at modularfords.com and you will find the answers to your question and many more.

Man that video is pretty sick! Sounds awfully sweet. Man it is hard to decide wether to go s/c or turbo in the future! Both look sick, seems turbo can whip some **** as well.

I have the PowerHouse kit and have not thought twice about installing it. I actually removed a Saleen S/C and put this turbo on. The customer service from them is top notch as well. Give them a call and ask for Mike, he can answer all of your questions.

BTW that video is a PowerHouse turbo.

I want a turbo but they seem so much more complicated than a supercharger. Would I be able to keep my exhaust setup with a turbo.

With the 11lb spring I was seeing about 510tq and 495hp to the rear wheels. I actually saw 10.6lbs of boost on my gauge. The kit comes with a 9lb and 11lb spring.

The turbos have more piping which makes them more complicated but after the install everything is the same. It does hook to the factory cat back. At least the PowerHouse setup does.

I actually had a Saleen S/C for 11 months before installing the turbo and have not thought twice about it. I was sick of belt slip and changing pulleys. With the turbo and a manual boost controller the turn of the dial you can raise and lower the boost.

Got any vid's or your turbo. How much did the kit cost you and will it cost more to have the turbo installed. Does it sound similar to the sts, because I want something I can hear!

Powerhouse makes a very nice kit that isn't too difficult to install with typical tools.
I opted for a custom kit b/c I wanted a bit more. It actually cost me about $800 more for my kit and not cutting any corners...not that Powerhouse did. I just went for some products that wouldn't limit me in the HP catagory.

Precision 76mm ballbearing turbo
JGS wastegate
Greddy BOV
1200 hp rated intercooler

The kit normally costs 5495.00 but I paid just over 5000.00. I subtracted a few items from the kit that I didn't need. Installation would have to be priced from whoever is going to install it. I do think there is a price increase coming at the beginning of the year for the kit.

You can hear the turbo spool up when driving around town in part throttle but at WOT all you hear is turbo.

I do not have a video on the computer I am on but check PowerHouse website for some videos. http://www.powerhouse411.com/videos.php
