Had problems with rear brakes...
I was changing out my brake pads on the weekend and ran into a problem with the passenger rear brake caliper. Basically I couldn't get the piston to retract. I must have turned it 15 times and it wouldn't retract at all. I ended up having to take off the caliper and put a clamp on it and turn it while clamping it in at the same time. Has anyone else had this problem? The driver rear caliper screwed in fine so I am not sure what happened with the other side. Are there any specialized tools that make this easier?
Thanks

you can go down to autozone or most autoparts stores and get a caliper compression tool. Its pretty much just a long threaded rod with a plate on one side that rest against the outside of the caliper and on one end of the rod is a handle and the other is a pad that presses against the piston. As you turn it, it compresses the piston.
Heres 3 different tools from the cheapest to the most expensive. You can usually rent them.

If you'll notice, the pucks have a nub to locate in the piston while you turn the tool.
