Has anyone installed these springs on an 05?

How's the ride and height?

I haven't seen these available. Is there a kit out now? Where and how much?

H&R provides good springs for the '05+, I have only heard or read good things about the ride and height. I love my Eibachs though.

I installed H&R springs on my GT and I'm 100% satisfied. I wanted a minimal drop just to lose some of the fenderwell space, and get rid of some of the factory slop without sacrificing too much ride quality. Mission accomplished.

The springs dropped my car about 1" in the front and 3/4" in the rear, as indicated by the H&R literature. Here are some pics:

Ride looks awesome!!!

Any issues with alignment in the rear?

I'm thinking about dropping the back only and 3/4" sounds about perfect. Wish they sold the rears separately. I know some other manufacturers do but I believe, from all the reading, that most drop 1" or more.

take care,

Luis

Thanks guys!

Only issue is the rear end alignment, which seems to be over to the driver's side by about ~1/4", but it's really hard to notice. It may have been close to that from the factory, but with the factory wheels and tires it was impercetible. There is no rubbing of any kind, so I'm not going to worry about it.

It still rides pretty good, but I will probably add some Bilsteins for lowered '05-'06s when they become available to help get back some of the ride quality. Not unbearable by any stretch, with most of the change in the ride coming from the 19s.

thanks Randy!

All the shops up here push H&R and only have bad things to say about the Eibachs for the 05's. I know alot of you have used Eibachs though.

You have 19's right? I wonder how my 18's will look...

anyone with a similar drop (in inches), with 18's?

are the H&Rs progressive, which kit did you go with Randy and did you do anything else like dampners or sway bars? how is the oversteer/understeer if any?do you have any HP increasing mods that might make a difference in the springs performance over stock either good or bad????

My wheels are 19" ROH Drift Rs. I'm sure it would look just as good with 18s.

I went with the entry level OE Sport springs. I honestly don't know if they are progressive or linear, and it doesn't say on the website. I bought them mainly because I have heard they were of good quality, and they were the only springs I could find with a minimal drop. The characteristics of the car are about the same in terms of balance, but just with a lot less body roll. Turn-in is more crisp and the car responds much more quickly to driver input in general. I don't have any engine mods yet.

Off topic, but I see you're from San Clemente, Ca. My sister lives there - very nice place to live.
