The funny thing is...that track is ONLY 1/8th mile. It's a run down airport...scary. His times must be an estimate

Yes but he says the 1/4 mile time was before all the big mods.Read the messages on the right side.The fact is the car has never made a 1/4 mile pass yet and he is already posting his estimates.

 

That was my point from the beginning.....comment already posted. I ran 89mph with a 7.67 1/8 mile, there is no way you can run 101mph in the 1/8 with only bolt ons....especially with only a 2.1 60'. It just doesn't add up. Has anyone ever run that kind of MPH in the 1/8 with only boltons (05/06stang)?? For that to make sense, you would have to be running close to 500rwhp to get 101 mph in the 1/8 with a 2.1 60'.

 

Did anyone read my post? That track is only 1/8th mile. If he ran 1/4 mile, he'd run into a fence! That track is the next closest track to me (2hrs away). Orlando-Speedworld is 2 1/4 hrs away.
His times are calculator times. It is impossible for his times to be 1/4 mile at Immokolee.
That track is out in the everglades. The mosquito's there will carry you off and the drive to and from is extremely hazardous with all the wild animals crossing the two lane road encompassed by marsh!

Yeah, thats what I am saying. In the post on dragtimes, since all of his numbers ended in zeros, I commented that it sounded like an estimation, not an actual run. (my comment is the one signed by "Paul") So basically we are saying the same thing....

And when you think about it, even if he did do a 7.57 @ 101 in the 1/8, that is a very strong 11 sec timeslip in the making, and to finish at 118, how would you only do a 12.49? I would think that would be a 11.40

Agreed I've been to Immokalee many times one of my best friends races there every weekend.

His Maverick runs low 7's all day and his MPH is around 92.
His 1/4 mile time is around 11.5.

No way that guy is running those times and that speed.

That track is out in the middle of nowhere. You dont have to worry about just the animals either, I think all the people trying to pass on the one lanes road (RT82) are much worse.
