Guess My Dyno Numbers

I went to a Dyno today and I am wondering what I should be at..
I have a 2005 Mustang GT Stock 5R55S Automatic.

Mods:
JLT II CAI
SCT Tune 93 Race tune from Bamachips
Steeda Charge Motion Delete Plates
Steeda Underdrive Pulleys
Spyder Aluminum Drive Shaft
PYPES Off Road H Pipe
FRPP 4.10 Gears
Stock Mufflers

Run 12.83 @ 106.66
Stock Base Line Dyno was 260rwhp 271rwtq

After all this what should my numbers be?

Well, I was not very impressed with the Numbers, I expected more

The Shop was an import mostly shop and Dynojet was a 4 wheel raised type. The guy had problems keeping the car in 4th I don't think he was doing it right but the best was 281.62 hp 288.49 tq

With your 1/4 mile time and speed the numbers sound about right, and also for the mods you have. I've seen some pretty inflated numbers that gets peoples hopes up, just depends on the dyno I suppose, but your numbers sound realistic to me.

Numbers sound low for the mods you have. mine was 302RW and 315T without the delete plates mods and mostly the same mods you have and running 12.89 @ 106 in the 1/4 mile. My base was very sim to yours at 260RW and 260T.
From the Dyno it looks like the shop didn't have the lockout program setup for the Automatic. You will get a loop or bump like at the end of your run.
Also looks like you air/fuel is high at 14? You should be closer to 13 A/F with a NA car.
You may want to find a shop around that deals with Mustangs.
Just my 2 cents.

We don't really have any good ones close, We have one Mustang Shop but they are better with SN95's, Terminators and Lightings.

Hey Scott,
I have to agree with Steve about you air/fuel mixture. It looks mighty lean to me also. In the fall I was on Brenspeeds dynojet and have very similiar mods to yours on my auto trans. At that time I did not have the longtubes, delete plates or Spydershaft. I was running an offroad pipe and Doug's 93 octane tune. I put down 276/295 on that pull with an A/F of about 12. I was also running 18 inch wheels X 275 tires. And this does make a difference. Steve's numbers over 300 /300 are exceptional for an automatic with his level of mods. I am headed to Brenspeeds on Friday for a cam install and custom tune plus my other new mods since the fall pull. I am hoping for something around 315/310. We shall see. Get your A/F ratio looked at for your sake.

Hey E,
Do you have an auto trans or a 5 speed manual? I suspect you have a manual trans for your numbers with your mods. He has an auto trans and we give up 20/20 to the manuals. We need to make sure we are comparing apples to apples here.

I have had tunes from
Fred at Evolution - Same day test 13.02
Justin at VMP - Same day test 12.98
and a Local Dyno Tune and that just plain sucked
The best 1/4 Mile times were from Dougs, - Same day Test 12.83

I need a Custom Dyno tune butI can't find any locals that are good with the S197 Auto Tranny.

That's really lean. Additionally, the guy at the dyno should have known the shift lock schedule to keep the car from downshifting. I assume that's the problem that he had.

I would have no problem retuning the car for you if you're interested. We have our dyno-lock value file that will allow us to run the car without down-shifting or going into O/D. That's pretty much standard procedure.

I suspect that 290 is a realistic HP goal, and over 300 in tq is also realistic.

I had a guy with just C&L Racer CAI, Delete Plates and Axle Backs in the other day in an 06 auto... he got out of here with 289 / 3 something on STD, so SAE would bring it down somewhere around 284 at the wheels. That was without UDP's / H Pipe. He had 4.10's as well.

I'll try and post the dyno graph tomorrow... I'm not down at the shop.

Those numbers are uncorrected on your graph. It would probably clamp it down to 270-273. That's still decent numbers... K&N drop-in filter, or intake? Also, your air fuel is pretty rich... 11.8ish.

Yea what he said. I'd want that a/f around 12.5 personally. Could prob squeeze a few more horseys out of it by leaning it out a bit.

I'm definitely going to be looking into that. And how do you know uncorrected vs. corrected? I was trying to look for any indications on the dyno sheet but could not make any sort of conclusion.
