Ok so I picked up a GT500 tb for $25 and attempted to polish it to a mirror finish... Well that resulted in frustration and a broken drill. So I then decided to just paint it high gloss black... Went to auto zone and picked up black primer, high gloss black, and clear coat... I did the primer good (one coat then dropped the stupid can an broke the nozzle off so I could only do one coat... I let it dry and applied a coat of the high gloss black... Put way too much on and now it looks like **** and I don't have sand paper... Plus 3 small flying bugs are stuck in the paint :-/ fml

I feel your pain. Ive repainted my handles like half a dozen times because theyre a pain to get out so Im painting on-car and theres always something: wind, bugs, overspray. Paint inside if you arent already and always go light first. Its hard, I know. I still lay it on too thick sometimes in an effort to get an even coat.
