Has anyone out there removed the GT emblems from the fenders? Are they stickers or do they have holes?
I was looking at some v6 pics and I like how the fenders are clean w/no badges. I have removed the 5.0 amblems on all my fox-bodies but I know the sn95's had holes behind the emblems. I wax my car a lot and emblems stink, plus my silver 05 GT w/ spoiler delete will be extra stealthy w/out the emblems.

I believe there are alignment holes, so unless you want to weld/grind/bondo/paint the fender, you are stuck with the badges

Well i just ordered my car, so hopefully someone will try it before mine comes in. If not I guess I'll be the first. My guess is they just stick on, since the v6 has no emblem (therefore no holes) and both models utilize the same fender. The sn95's (v6 and v8) all had emblems b/c they all have holes. It's gonna be a while before mine gets here so if anyone else is brave enough to try I'd love to see the pics!

I would bet there are holes, because on Ebay they are selling these emblems. You really could not see the back to see if there are pins.

I did remove my fender badge on the Driver's side. It was slightly askew and I took it off to straighten it. I used a hair dryer and my Blockbuster (Very thin laminate) card to get behind it without scratching. It came right off. I was surprised
to see two alignment holes and no room for adjustment. I had to cut one pin to gain movement and reapplied using the same double stick tape that came on it.
The passenger side badge was perfect. If you do remove it be careful as it is really
flimsy plastic and can break quite easily.....

that majorly sux, I guess i just have to deal with it cause there's no way I'd fill holes and repaint unless I had to, and if it were wrecked bad enough to paint both fenders i wouldn't want the car any more... oh well, can't have everything

You just want to be the first to put the GT-R emblem on ....

You can tell us the truth.

Put some 40th anniversary emblems on it from last years car. They look sweet and actually it still is the 40th aniversary year, so you can get away with it

There are two holes behind the GT badges. I noticed that on the production line.

Less weight.

I personally like the GT logo from the fenders on the concept car. They are all over Ebay cheap.....stinks that the holes keep us from making the switch.....c'mon aftermarket emblem makers! LOL

I'd love to have one of these modified to read "281" instead of "289"

Brad-

Yup, very nice. That's easy, as the "High Performance" is a separate badge behind the V-289 badge.
