GT 500 Driving Lights Connection?

I should be getting all the stuff needed for the GT 500 fascia install from KC soon. The only thing I'm a little unsure about is the connection from the existing wires and plugs for the original fog lights to the new driving lights. Is it obvious which wires go where? Will the pigtail KC includes just plug in to the old fog light sockets and then plug into the new driving lights? Or, is some splicing needed?

Any info or pics would be appreciated.

I don't have pics, but I had to order the entire wiring harness from KC and the dealership spliced the new fog light plugs onto my existing harness. If I understand it right, the only thing my dealer used from the new wiring harness was the actual new plugs for the new fog lights.

OK, that doesn't sound too bad. I think when the part arrive, things will make more sense to me. Thanks Rob.

By the way, I will go ahead and use the running pony-tri-bar emblem like you used. The mounting looks do-able. My '05 isn't going to have racing stripes like yours (and just about everybody else's) but I think my car will look pretty good in just stock Satin Silver. It'll be a while, but I'll eventually post some pictures.

Yep, you're going to buy this rather massive wiring harness. You'll be using only two pigtails off it and the rest discarded. Apparently, the fog lamp pigtails are not available separately. I'll be willing to buy what you don't need. PM me if interested.

Oh, this is what sunny southern Arizona looked like yesterday. Snow on cactus???? Once every five years, they say....

Does the GT500 come with HID headlights? was just wondering, and if so I wonder what the cost would be for a retrofit. Thanks for any info guys.
