Okay, for those interested. I have talked with Jason at BMR is this is what they are willing to do. There has to be atleast 10 takers for this to take place. This offer ends September 30, 2005.

IF ten people get on board it'll cost $950.

I'll be getting mine installed tomorrow with some dyno numbers, but there may not be any significant hp gains. Honestly, I'm not sure. I'll be making some runs at the track, so that's where we'll really see the difference! I'll follow up in this thread with some new times-as long as the rain holds out. It's been raining here everyday since the hurricane.
A big part of the cost to this driveshaft is the CNC machine billet yokes.

Pm or email me if you are interested and I will post a running list by name. As of right now, they don't have one for an automatic yet. It takes a different driveshaft. Ford has 2 different part numbers for the auto and manual. BMR is working on it.

Info and specs can be found here:

I'm very interested David and would like to see your results before I make my final decision. I found this article that gives a good explanation of the benefits of the carbon fiber and might help make some more people jump aboard....thanks for your help with getting the ball rolling

Well...maybe I'll jump on board last minute, not sure. I know the price is a nice break, but I could hold a little longer. I just cant see paying that price right now...

I'll follow this, and see it makes 10, please keep us updated. Thanks for looking into it. It looks like a great piece. Look forward toyour results.

It didnt' make it on the dyno yet or get installed yet. I'll be going by the guys shop that's installing the driveshaft tomorrow a.m. He's also welding in a anti-roll bar for me. I'm hoping to get it back tomorrow so I can take it to the track (as long as it doesn't rain).

Still way out of my price range. Maybe a one piece aluminum would be more in my range.

169stang already noted in another thread that an aluminum or steal driveshaft would still cost around 700 to 800 bucks.Thats without the yoke and hardware,so if you want the whole sundae with the jimmys your better off going in with that 10 member deal if you can.

Able to get to the dyno yet? Just curious about the gains.
