Yeah my biggest concern is that this shifter has the positive stops like the Steeda and others have. I don't want to save $80 if the Steeda, etc is actually better. I hear this shifter isn't as tight as the others and is more of an in between. I wish somebody that has one of these could chime in on this.

Woot, arriving Wednesday! I'm going on Vacation on Saturday, so I don't know when I'll get a chance to do the install, but I'll let you know when I do. I don't have any jack stands, so I'm going to attempt it on rhinoramps as it's supposedly possible
I think I need to go invest in a deep well 10mm socket though. Is it just me, or could you just about take the car apart with a 10mm socket?

I just got mine installed today. Amazing how short the shifts are. They only think to get used to is the notchy-ness, does that get better with time? I have to say i do like it alot though.

Give the Hurst about a week or two. It definitely gets better! After about a week with living with mine the "notchiness" is much less. Firm shifts now and very postive. You know which gear you are shifting to. Still more firm than stock but very solid. I can shift with the Hurst with two fingers and my thumb. I like the Hurst a lot now but I'll be honest I had my doubts after I first installed it. After a week of banging gears it feels great! Its loosened up some much that I'm about to go underneath the car again to make sure all the bolts / nuts are still like I left them during the install.
The Hurst is a great piece if you ask me.
