Turbo Install III
Can we try this a third time without all the drama and a slight name change for the thread (ha)?
To stay on track and get a question I asked Tom yesterday in Turbo II thread answered, Tom can you answer my question(s) in this post. Just curious.
Thanks Tom

OK, due to constant Drama the 2 previous threads have unfortunately had to be closed (the 1st by TDS & 2nd by me). Tom is just trying to share his experience and solve whatever issues he is having and a number of TMS members are following and joined in.
While it is obvious that this is a unique issue Tom is having, it is also obvious that Granatelli is doing everything he can to help Tom with his product. While JR didn't make a special trip to Florida for this, he stopped while there and spent considerable time with Tom working on his car...something he did not have to do. There is no doubt that Granatelli Customer service is doing well here (we just ask that customer service issues between vendor and customer be handled privately). In the end as long as Tom is happy then all is well but there is nothing stating that he cannot share his experience with TMS members...
There are some very knowledgeable people assisting Tom on this forum but at the same time too many cooks can be frustrating to a vendor if some of those cooks are not knowledgeable on the topic at hand. This has been some of the cause of problems previously in this thread.....
So with that said I ask everyone to stay focused on Tom's experience here and refrain from any negative comments toward Granatelli and I ask him to do the same.

Wow! I have a lot of catching up to do.
It should be tomorrow, but I really have a feeling it will be scrubbed and I'll have to wait until next Friday. Oh well... good things come to those who wait!
I took the car on a long drive today - 210 miles total, mostly going 80 MPH. It felt great and heat is not even close to being an issue. I know it's cold out (for FL), but when I get home I can pop the hood and lay my hand right on the exhaust pipes going to the turbo.
I would like to see the difference with the 8psi spring in the WG. I'll have to email JR to see when he's going to send it.
In a way, it's good that I still have the 6psi spring. I'll get it dyno'd now and then again after I change to the 8psi spring to see if there is a difference.

Im so sorry if I helped contribute to the closing of the last thread. I was just trying to stick up for the SVO, even though I am sure he didnt need much sticking up for. I have been following this thread since day one, I practically read it religiously. I will not be turbo or super charging for awhile but just the knowledge I have picked up from this thread is unbelievable. Thanks alot for the thread. Apart from all the bickering and stuff this thread is full of useful information.

You know how it is blkstang06, the actors just joined the sequel so they can make more money, but their heart really isn't into doing it anyway. They want to make that new, trendier tread, but their agent makes them sign up for the sequel thread so they can pay their bills instead...

Wait until after the dyno numbers this Friday -- I'm sure this thread will get REALLY good again!!
Especially if they are low - or if the boost comes in slow! LOL

, its not pretty. The CMRC's were turned off in the tune. The tuner thought he had the deletes and well he didn’t so Tom been driving a car around with the butterfly’s closed choking the motor. Tom, don’t know what to say buddy, but what else can go wrong?
