After reading thru this entire thread a question comes to mind. Are you sure the problem is with your Granatelli throttle body? The first thing I would check would be to see what if any diagnostic codes the computer may have. It should help you pinpoint the area the problem is in. Do you have a handheld tuner?? Cannot tell from you signature. Many car parts places like Autozone will check for free. Just a thought.

my buddy has the same unit as i do , his works fine on my car but when mine goes on its giving me problems. plus when the stocker is on my mechanic checks the codes and every thing is fine.

yeah man, i hate to say it but TB's for our cars is not really worth it the "power to money ratio" does not balance out in my eyes

The stock throttle body provides more than enough airflow for both stock and modified N/A 3v engines..You only need to upgrade to a larger TB if you're going to add a blower, ported heads, cams or nitrous..otherwise there's very little to be gained if anything..
