Goodyear F1 eagle supercar tires
are they good for my supercharged car wich is a daily user?
any one has tried them?
how is the grip and traction?
im in a very hot dry desert climate
temp is always above freezing even in jan
and constantly above 100 in summer days
almost no rainfall except once or twice per year!!!!!!!!
thanks in advance

If there is no snow and only 2 days of rain a year i'd run nitto drags on the street......No street tire is going to hook up like a drag radial on dry pavement. If you want a steet tire, i'd recommend bgf kdw2's. Great in dry or wet conditions. No first hand knowledge of the supercar tires, but reviews don't seem so great.......

I just put a set on my car this week. I have about 100 miles on them and so far so good. $800 mounted out the door. 255/45 front and 285/40 rear.

I have them, 285 rear, 255 fronts, and I think they would be great for your car. As for as performance go, they will be grippier and stickier than the bf Goodrich kdw2s. The two tires aren’t really in the same class, if you check out the tire rack. The goodyears are more of a extreme performance summer tire (hell, they come stock on a ford GT and the new z06). The only compromises will be less grip in the rain and cold temperatures, but being what you said about your climate, they should be just about perfect, especially since your supercharged. (And by the way, the tire rack sells 255 and 285 for quite cheap, giving you humungo performance for the dollar). The "bad reviews" are basically in comparison to other max performance tires, such as the michelin pilot sport ps2, which does mildly better in the dry, but quite better in the wet. But for basically half the price on tirerack, i'd say it's worth it, especially in your case.
