Going to the track & need help

Like title states, I am going to the track (1/4 mile) on the 25th and need help ASAP as to what I need to install before I go.

A little info on the car first:

4.10 gears, 18x10 with 285/40 Nitto 555 in the back

I would like to get the rear suspension in place and need to know what is the best thing I can do before the 25th to give me better traction or launch.

I intend to lower the car at some point, just not now. What should I do first? UCA, LCA's, Panhand bar & brace? I am thinking the UCA would be first & maybe the panhand bar/brace and leave the LCA until I drop it.

Does this sound good or should I go another route?

I would like to get items ordered tomorrow (Fri) so I can have them delivered next week.

I appreciate any advice as I want to do this right.

btw, this is my daily driver & will see some occasional track time this spring/summer

Why don't you go and get a baseline so you can tell if the changes are really working? The biggest improvement you can make on your launch is the driver mod, the stock suspension is not that bad. I have pulled 2.0 60 ft times with 4.10's, and 275-40 street tires.

I tend to agree. I made over 300 runs on a 100% bone stock suspension, with both street tires and drag radials, and while NA and with the blower. I had no trouble hooking up, so there wasn't any reason to invest in suspension upgrades at the time. Even with a stock auto trans/converter, I had 60' times in the mid 1.90s. I say, if it ain't broke... don't fix it.

I also agree but if you must spend some money LCA's and the upper as well is where I would start if your looking to improve on 60 foots. Drag tires might also be a good idea.

I would say and agree some sticky drag tires will give you the most cluck for your buck at this point.

I cut a few 1.9's on a totally stock car. Go see what the car does before you buy anything.
