Getting bored of my GT, sell it?

I've had my 05 GT since Oct 2004 and I'm getting kind of bored with it.

Should I sell it or upgrade it?

Put a blower on it...... it will feel like a brand new car again. Get some new wheels and tires or something similar to change the appearance- it will look like a brand new car again. Get a new audio/video system with sat radio, navigation, etc..... it seem like a new car again because of the new, cool toys.

You can do all of this and still save $$ over buying a new car.

+2, When it comes down to it, you have the same experience either way. With a new car, you get a wonderful new feeling of unfamiliarity combined with something newer. But it always fades, just like it has now for you. I agree with Tom completely in the fact that you can put some smoothy upgrades on that change the character of the vehicle, and add some really exciting potential to it. Not to mention it allows you to have the advantage of familiarity with all the problems to date, and it's cheaper to boot!

+3... I'm in the process of upgrading the engine and adding exterior mods as well. Each new mod brings some excitement!

What would you replace it with?
My opinion is keep the cars you like, replace the ones you have a real problem with.

I think you should put a huge wing and some altezzas on it, and colored window tint.
It'd look so fast.

Wait for the '10 Mustang and sell or trade it in. Especially the '10 Mustang comes down the pipe with the rumored 400hp 5.0 and M6 trans at around 3600 lbs.

Heh, factory 12 second N/A Mustang, how sweet could that be

Haha.

Definitely keep it man. Some performance modifications and whatever you want cosmetically will make you look at it as a whole new car.

Test drive this and then go back to the Stang. My ex-boss at my current job just bought one of these in Bright Yellow.

1 liter - 3 cylinders - 70 hp, 68 tq - 0-60 12.8 - Top Speed 90mph and the best of all it requires Premium Fuel (91+ octane), WTF? doesnt that defeat the purpose, in the especially US?

I went through the same thing. I decided to keep the car and wait until newer cars come out. The 01/11 Mustang and Camaro will definetly be on my list in another year or so.
