Here's the ePod from straight on. In the picture it appears to block more of the tach/speedo than it does in person. I am happy with it, but unless you drive with the steering wheel all the way down, this pod isnt for you.

Now if the usps would only show up with my aem wideband, I could finish.

Thanks for the pic... it's definitely not for me. I kinda like to see the message center on the speedo.

So pittperson, what is your opinion of the gauge pod after having them in for a few days?

I am happy with it, but like I said unless you drive with the steering wheel all the way down, they will block the tach and speedo. Also, if you have the message center, that will be blocked. Lucky for me I dont have the message center and drive with the steering wheel all the down.

I like the rally pac idea, I have had them on my 66's. I also like the Shelby tribite, I have had old ones also. But, rally pacs were not used on Shelbys. They did use the 66 Rally pac housing under the center of the dash on the 67 Shelby. Rally pacs were on 65 and 66 Mustangs, Shelbys had a tach mounted on the top of the center of the dash.

Yea, I considered that one, but my car has a tach.....the shelby's (65,66) did not in the dash.

Pittperson, the epod looks like a decent setup. Their online instructions mention removing the top steering wheel column cover.....was this difficult ? It seems simple enough but when I tried, I got it to move around but couldn't seem to slide it off and didn't want to wreck it. Any suggestions ? Thanks

It was easy, there are two clips that hold attach it to the bottom half, one on each side. Just get one side started and pull up on it. I pulled pretty hard and didn't break anything. Same goes for putting it on.
