Question Gauge Pods again......your thoughts

I never really cared for the CDC model, it does not flow or match the dashboard.

I kind of liked the Speed of Sound and was almost set to go that route.

I found these at Moss mustang and wondered what you all thought, if you had them, etc.
Attachment 8442

It kind of has the old school look of the rally pack of the old days. Since my car is a tribute to the shelby of the sixties, I am considering this pod.

What do you think of this one?

Not really sure... I'd have to see a photo from the driver's perspective to see how much the block the view of the dash.

The ePod from moss mustang is in route to my house as I type this. It should be here this Thursday. Once it's installed I'll take pictures from the drivers seat.

Thanks, that will answer a lot of questions. Also what gauges are you installing them?

I'm installing the AEM wideband and an ultra-lite water temp.

I really like autometer cobalt series. I am not that worried about water temp, mainly oil pressure and a O2 gauge would be nice. I also really want a shift light. I considered putting a combo tach and shift light on the dash, but it is really overkill with a car that has a real working tach. I considered the SOS gauges that you can add the raptor shift light. But I found these gauges and really like the old school look, and since my car is old school look, it kind of fits.

I agree in the fact that the first and only gauge pod that I have been looking at is the SOS one with the shift light, but now that I saw the other one in this thread I am reconsidering. That is if they do not obstruct the view. I checked out the Cobalt series and didn't see a wide band on their, I know they have it in the C2 series?

I find the a-pillar is already pretty wide. How does the sos pod impact your sightlines?

Actually, they haven't been an issue for me at all. From the driver's eye, the lower pod doesn't even stick out past the edge of the glass, and the upper pod is barely past the edge of the glass (maybe an inch at the most).

Still wondering if anybody can tell me if the gauge pod mounted on the column obstructs the view to the dash gauges?

Mine will be here and installed today. It went "out for delivery" at 4:15am this morning so it should be here around 3:30. I will take pictures when it is installed.
