Great, thanks Don I appreciate it. I'm really leaning towards doing an install similar to yours- although I already purchased one I just can't seem to get myself to buy into the Saleen pod install and after talking to SOS, they are only going to release a triple dash pod in the immediate future, which I don't need and don't want. I have the dual Aeroforce kit coming this week, so maybe I'll go buy a 2" holesaw and a 6pk of Bud Light.

Look's good Tom, I've liked that gauge location, ever since I seen KC use it for his Supercharger install!.......

Looks great Tom!

Do the bezels sit as flush as you wanted them to?

Tom281, did you drill the holes with the dash panel in place, or did you have to remove all the panels to do the drilling on a bench outside of the car? Thanks.

I removed it, but honestly you could probably drill it with the piece still in the car. There is some plastic material behind it that you have to drill out anyway to make enough depth for the gauges, but nothing back there to worry about like wires, etc. If you get it marked the way you want while in the car, you could very likely just drill it there.

Oh OK, thanks for the info Tom!

Maybe I'll do that. I'm not sure!

Tom, Don or anybody else that has the new gauge. What will it take to make it into a wideband A/F gauge? Do the instructions have any way to do it? Looking at a A/F wideband sensor (appx $65 more), the wire looks short, is there any additional wires included in the gauge kit?
By the way that in the dash looks killer but I do already have a dual proparts dash console. I want to see if I can possible go with no holes drilled. Just waiting on my delivery of the Aeroforce gauge to try some things. Also where is Aeroforce located at?

All you need is the sensor, a 5v power supply (I think) and some extra wire. The guage comes with a pigtail but its only about 10" long. You can check their website for more details.... as far as their location, I think it was around Cleveland but I'm not sure, I didn't pay any attention. I know I ordered mine on Sunday, received tracking info Tuesday, received it via UPS on Wednesday.

Thanks,

Tom

I prefer th CDC setup. To me, having the guages in the center, not only is a lot of work, but it kinda looks out of place.

I felt that way too, but I really like the smooth look of the dash pad and just didn't want to disturb the lines.....and now I'm happy that I didn't put them up top. The chrome bezels on the gauges look good with the factory chrome bezels, IMO. I'm selling a Saleen pod & guages now because I didn't want to install them.

Well, I installed my new SOS A pillar pod. What an easy mod! Take the old trim off from the back and put the new one on! Easier then I thought!

Here's a couple of pics!

Wow... my opinion is just the opposite. The CDC pod looks totally out of place. It matches nothing at all in the car, and just looks slapped on there. On the other hand, my Nexus gauges in the center vent panel matches everything, including the IUP colors. To each his own I guess.
