Has anybody seen this kind of discoloration on 05 GT Mustangs? I've got 1500 miles on it now.

My car has about the same miles and I noticed it as well.

I've got 1300 miles and mine looks Identical to yours.

That's a plating issue. I have the same thing.

Why would they plate it? Oh, that's right, to go along with the intake manifold cover!

Mine doesn't - as a matter of fact I just polished the rails out yesterdaywith Mothers Mag Polish and it came out nice.....ov couse I only have 1150 miles on mine so it could turn in the next 150 miles or so..he..he - JK - look at it this way - all the more reason to push the aftermarket for that engine cover!!

I've got almost 5,000 miles on mine and no discoloration of my rails.

Mine are discolored on the driver side
