Arrow FRPP Supercharger - Whipple (Update)

Hey guys,

Just a heads up.
I know the whipple kit is out etc,
but Ford Racing has updated its parts and specs (although not all) on the Ford Racing Parts websiteFits 2005-2006 Mustang GT with MANUAL transmission.
Produces 400hp at approximately 5psi of boost
Kit includes intake manifold supercharger, drive belt, and all other accessories for installation of the supercharger
Includes Pro-Cal tool voucher with official Ford Racing calibration
Premium fuel required
E.O. #D-231-24
COMING SOON 2007 model year and automatic transmission versions!! Spring 2007!

Does not reference the FR4 - SuperPak anymore,
which in turn I'm guessing its up to the dealer to warranty or not.

Basically its the following from whipples site.
http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/...sp?ProdID=1208

WK-200700B
M-6066-M463V
05-06
4.6
Mustang GT - 24V (No IC)
Black
$4,919.99

Not intercooled
and oh look.... 21 dollars cheaper from FRP @ MSRP

Is there an echo in the room?

Yeah, that would be the drawback i'm guessing.

One thing to notice though.....

is the lack of :
Installation of this kit will void your new vehicle powertrain warranty

which is pretty much on every other supercharger on there...

I know of two goys that have the HO (10-12#, I/C) kit and really love it. I am trying to decide between that and a turbo setup. I can't get over the goofy "slide whistle" sound the Whipple makes....I know that is a stupid reason to base a decision...but hey!

My polished non IC kit for the auto is installed and running good. Only thing is that I am waiting for a new pulley because I am only making 4lbs of boost with the standard pulley because of my exhaust. I am waiting for the 8lb pulley to come and then I will see what it will make. I have 388 RWHP with 4lbs of boost.
