FRPP muffler sets...GT vs GTA?
Hi all,
Does anyone know the difference between the FRPP mustang axel back kits. They list the M-5230-GT for the 2005 GT, and the M-5230-GTA for the 2005-06 mustang. What is the difference? The GTA part number is cheaper. Anyone know the difference? The specs seem pretty similar. Ford...as usual...doesn't have the info on their webpage in anyplace a potential buyer can find it.

If I remember correctly, the "A" is the "quiet" version. Not as loud as the other. There is a discussion on this in the sticky exhaust thread with someone that ran through a problem with ordering it. I think it is somewhere between pages 7 and 9.
The A version is the California legal one, it's much quieter than the other which is made by Borla. The Borla version has mufflers that can't be seen straight on from the back, while the A version retains the "oval" largish mufflers that the stock version has.
Basically the A version is 300$ muffler tips.
