I have the FRPP and mine have a muted trumpet/bugle type sound when they're cold and I first start up while giving it throttle. When they warm up it's nothing but a deep ROAR!!!! I checked and everything seems tight with no rubbing anywhere. It might be my Bassani X-pipe highflow cats causing the sound, so I can't really blame the FRPPs. Strange that it only happens when the pipes are cool.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I just got my FRPP exhaust (M5230-5GT) last Thursday and I really like them. I ordered them through a friend at the local dealer back in August (didn't pay up front which is why I wasn't that worried about it) and they finally came in.
It was an easy install, the right one leans a little inward however, but everything else went smoothly. I love the sound, not as loud as I was thinking it would be, but that's just better for my neighbors. It is a lot deeper and it feels like there is a little more response.
I give them a two thumbs up.

Are you the same girlfriend that used to complaign about my Dakota being too loud? And basically forbid me from getting an exhaust on the Titan, and then got mad at me when I bought one anyway? :bang:
Just wondering, sounds like a different story to me.
Women, I'm not going to try and figure them out.
