Absolutely the emissions will be effected. but unless you live somewhere where they sniff the exhaust you will be fine. I know you can't install these in Cal, or Denver.
Here in NY all you have to do is keep all the emission equipment and the ECU can't be throwing any codes.

Ive listened to alot of the BBR, comp stag 2,3 and 4 and they all sound about the same.
I havent been able to find a good clip of the brenspeed cams. I am guessing it sounds about the same as well.
When i get around to doing the same, i will be picking the cheapest from Brenspeed, Comp and BBR as the performance and sound seem to be about the same for all of them.

Thanks STD!!!
My video does not really capture the idle difference. I might try another vid to see if the lopeyness will show up better. But again it is not as radical as the BBR cams!Scott

While I did get to drive the car today for only the second time since the cams were installed on Feb. 15th. I can tell you that the Comp NSR cams definitely have a rougher idle than the stockers, it is nothing like the BBR cam video clips I have heard posted. But I got to tell you that it sounded awesome going thru the drivethru tonight after work..

And at least pull it out of the garage, the sound reflections from the garage/cave acoustics are probably overlapping that awesome lope.
Anybody ever find out how much the FRPP cams are going to cost?

Since you asked for me to move out of the garage and the sun was shining when I go home I will try to please. So here is my Comp NRS cams at idle. Definitely rougher than stock but no where are lopely as the BBR cams. See if this helps.
